Udaan Ghar
Since 2003
Udaan Ghar is a shelter home for the underprivileged girls. In 2003 it was known as Nirman Project and later in 2006 it was developed into Udaan Ghar. Presently we have 64 kids in the age group of 5 to 14 years. This is a home away from home. We believe that children have the right to basic care, education, and security and those children who are marginalized because of poverty, disability or gender should have the same opportunities as other. We have volunteers who come to the shelter and interact with children and they do activities and workshops for and with them. Each and every child inducted is compulsorily admitted into the formal education system.
